Kayce recently self-published her first book, Spirit Lead Me, a 5-week in-depth Bible Study on Galatians 5 and the fruit of the Spirit. Spirit Lead Me was written for both men and women in hopes that it could be used by local church leaders and individuals to equip, train, and disciple followers of Jesus Christ.
Kayce takes some of the complex concepts in Scripture and simplifies them so even the novice Bible student can both understand and apply them. And, since the study is full of Scripture, the seasoned Bible student will benefit from the washing of the Word.
Kayce has been teaching the Word of God since graduating from Teen Challenge in 2006. In 2015, God spoke to Kayce's heart that He was calling her to speak, and she has been willing to go wherever He opens the door.
Kayce has had the privilege of speaking at her local church, special events, and women's events.
Kayce and her husband, Cory, have been serving as the Worship Pastors at their local church, Risen Life Church, in Longview, TX since 2015. Serving alongside her husband and leading their church in worship is an honor and the highlight of her week. The presence of God is so tangible when the body of Christ comes together to praise and worship the King. There is nothing more thrilling than being close to Jesus. We were each made to worship, and when we fulfill our purpose in this way, we get a little taste of heaven.
Kayce believes in the importance of the local church. God created us to need community and the body of Christ is vital to our Spirit-led walk. Many of us have been deeply wounded by people in the church, but please don't let that keep you from finding the right people with the right heart. The church is full of imperfect people trying to do the perfect work of God. Ask God and let Him lead you to the group of believers that will strengthen and encourage you in your faith and in your walk with God.
The Bible- I believe that the Bible is the Word of God, that it was written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, that it is without error and that it has supreme authority in the matters of faith and conduct in the lives of believers. II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:20-21, Proverbs 30:5-6, Romans 16:25-26
The Trinity- I believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in the three persons of the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. I John 5:7, Genesis 1:26, Matthew 3:16-17; 28:19, Isaiah 9:6, Hebrews 3:7-11
Jesus Christ- I believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, and that He was conceived by the Holy Spirit. I believe that He was born of the Virgin Mary, and that he possessed two complete, perfect natures of God and man, joined together in one Person. I believe that Jesus lived a sinless life on this earth and died a suffering death as he was crucified on the Cross. I believe that he was buried in a borrowed tomb and descended to Hades and took back the keys of death and the grave. I believe He then rose on the third day to cleanse the sins of all mankind who believe in Him for eternity. I believe in the miracles and teachings of Jesus. I believe in His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, and His ascension to the right hand of the Father. I believe in His second coming and His personal return to this earth in power and glory to rule for a thousand years. John 1:1,14, John 20:28, Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:18,23-25, Luke 1:27-35, I Timothy 3:16, Isaiah 9:6, Philippians 2:5-6, I Timothy 2:5, I Thessalonians 4:15-17, Matthew 24:27-30, Revelation 1:7, Revelation 1:18, Revelation 19:11-14, Revelation 20:1-6
Holy Spirit- I believe in the Holy Spirit, who was sent into the world as a comforter and guide to believers. I believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the believer is identified as God’s own and empowered to live a holy life. I believe that the Holy Spirit endues believers with power to be witnesses. I believe that the Holy Spirit distributes His gifts to believers for the building up of the saints and for the sharing of the Gospel. Joel 2:28-29, John 14:16-17, Matthew 3:11, Mark 16:17, I Thessalonians 5:23, Ephesians 1:13-14, Acts 1:5, Romans 1:11; 12:4-8, I Corinthians 12:1-31; 14:1-40, Hebrews 2:4
Fall of Man- I believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred both physical and spiritual death, which is our separation from God. I believe that all human beings are born with a sinful nature and are guilty sinners in thought, word and deed. Genesis 1:26-27, Genesis 2:17, Genesis 3:6, Romans 5:12-19
Salvation- I believe that those who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior receive forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life, and are regenerated by the power of the Holy Spirit. I believe that salvation from judgment, forgiveness of sin, and eternal life are free gifts of God’s grace, through faith in Jesus Christ’s death and resurrection, and cannot be earned, deserved, inherited or purchased. I believe the only way to God is through Jesus Christ. John 3:3, Ephesians 2:8-9, Galatians 2:16, 3:8, Titus 3:5-7, Romans 8:16, Romans 10:9-15, Hebrews 9:22, Mark 16:16, John 14:6
Water Baptism- I believe that water baptism is a declaration of repentance and an outward sign of the death, burial and resurrection of the new birth that has occurred spiritually. Matthew 28:19, Acts 10:47-48, Romans 6:4
The Church- I believe that the Church is the Body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit with a divine purpose to glorify God, to evangelize the lost and to make disciples. I believe that each member of the Church, from clergy to lay people, is important and has been gifted by God so that when each part is working properly, the entire Body might grow to maturity in unselfish love. Ephesians 1:22; 2:19-22; 4:16, Hebrews 12:23, John 17:11, I Peter 4:10
Holy Living- I believe that believers are the temple of the Holy Spirit and are to live holy lives that are worthy of our calling, as the Holy Spirit enables us. I Corinthians 6:19, II Peter 1:32; 3:11, Ephesians 4:1
The Blessed Hope- I believe in the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord. I believe that Jesus is coming soon! I am looking forward to that day and waiting eagerly for its coming. I Thessalonians 4:16-17, Romans 8:23, Titus 2:13, I Corinthians 15:51-52, II Peter 3:12-13
